Horrible Ford Pinto 1600cc - £20 ono - 4th Mar 2009 12:12pm
Want rid of this hateful, heavy, underpowered, sh*t engine.
It's been sat in the corner of my garage for a long while. I turned the crank and it turns fine. All the ports have been plugged. If you're insane enough to actually use this for it's original use, you're welcome to it. However, you could weigh it in for more. It doesn't come with the inlet as this is the only thing on it that's worth a few quid.
There's no oil in it as it's just pissed out all over my garage floor (it tilted over and it came out of the filler cap).
Bring a properly big van as these weigh about 10 tonnes. You could half the weight and make two trips for the ridiculously stupid square exhaust manifold. I'd call it 'restrictive' if this engine actually produced any power.
I take NO RESPONSIBILTY for the engine totally bottoming out and knackering your suspension.
I'm not bothered if nobody wants it, I just had to get that off my chest. I'm getting rid by the end of the week.
