Can one archive a DVD to VHS using it?

Nout wrong with VHS its quality I use S-VHS for archiving me Sky+ and its near DVD quality lol! No scratched disks to worry about

bah bummer. I want one the other way round, got many things on VHS that I want on DVD

use your computer mate, think i got a boxed tv card somewhere you can have it for a tenner, i only used it once to get wizard of oz off laserdisc onto dvd for a pink floyd sync i was making.

Cheers matey, but I've got one already, just takes too long and I aint got the time, always using the comp too.

Just want something I can set and leave without setting antyhing up or checking anything.
