I can vouch for that, I've got a 14 year old Cav. The 90k engine is like new, there is no rust anywhere and the ride is still as smooth as when it left the forecourt. The engine bay is covered in dust as I've never had to do anything. Proper reliable cars.

By the way, it's a mk3, the mk4 was the Vectra.
