You need a "nice" vet as it softens the blow when you get the bill. My first visit to a vet this morning with kitty mick. I now understand why the wife has been taking him--so she can hide the bill. 10 minutes, needle and eye drops £53...cheaper to buy another.

Found a lump on one of our cats, took her in yesterday.
Turns out it is (was) a cyst (thank God) which he drained.
41 pounds.

Our vet is good,he said once I'd got Misty on the right dose of insulin I could get it online & the needles too.I just have to get her checked over to make sure she's healthy for the prescription.9 bottles of insulin costs £163 it's gone up since the last lot but it's half the price & it's £21 for 60 needles.it's the vat that pushes the price up £27 on 9 bottles of insulin but one bottle from the vet is £34.egg & chips put me on to a good site, they sell all sorts some meds you need a prescription for though.
