Hi Guys,
Our African Grey Parrot has gone missing.
It flew off from the elmswood road/ falkland road/ brighton street junction/ area of Egremont, Seacombe, Wallasey, yesterday teatime 6PM on 18/09/2013.
Our children are distraught as we are, as it is deeply loved and missed.
Please if anyone finds it, has found it or knows someone who has found it please contact us via wikiwirral.
The Parrot is microchipped and has a closed rung, so I can prove ownership if anyone finds it, I have reported it to all local vets & the RSPCA.
I am offering a reward to anyone who finds it.
If anyone is part of other chatrooms, twitter or facebook please forward this on, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys
Ihave put it on facebook for you.Hope your parrot is found soon hun x
Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you know our parrot has now been returned. Believe it or not she was found at ALDERHEY, liverpool.
Thanks to all who took time to read the post
OMG how random, glad you got your parrot back ,good result..Very lucky.
Fantastic news! Very pleased for you and your family.
Phew - what a relief. That must have been one tired, worried little bird! Not to mention the owners... My friend has a grey and he's really one of the family, very sociable.
I found an African Grey yesterday at about 3:00pm in the Albert Dock, it also came from over the water apparently!
Looked quite young, it landed next to me then hopped onto my arm and onto my shoulder. I had to walk all the way to work with it on my shoulder and pass it to the security guard to call the RSPCA.
Amazing little thing, a day I won't forget.
fantastic news i hope it does not happen again you must be so happy and your kids must have big smiley faces
