Are you talking about the young, unneutered tom cat? We've recently had a grubby black and white cat visit our back yard, and we've given him something to eat. We're concerned about him. He is very skinny! You can feel every rib and backbone! And his long fur is matted. frown

I think he must be a stray. He's dirty and has no collar, and certainly no owned animal should be in such poor shape! no

I dont think this is the same cat, this one is an older male with short fur, very thin so we have given it some food.

I'll try and get a piccy of him, so we can compare. It'll be very sad if there's TWO bony cats roaming around! no

Awww goldmoon cant you take him in, must have been an owned cat once if hes letting you stroke him.

Whereabouts in wallasey hun. Is he by king street and is he all black with a little white. Ive seen one which the owners leave him out for long periods of time. Wonder if its that one xx

He's a long haired black and white cat, looks like a young 'un and is definitely an unneutered male. Sadly, we can't take him in as we have 2 cats already, (both rescues.)

I think I know the cats you mean that are left out a lot. The ones by the bus-stop, right? And THEY'RE not fixed either, one of them has had kittens, despite being little more than a kitten herself!

@ nightowl: With regard to the original post, there's an ad about a lost black and white cat in the butchers shop window at the bottom of Trafalgar Road. The cat disappeared on Monday 10th June from Rice Lane, Wallasey. I'll PM you the contact number.

It is deffinately not the same cat that has been visiting us, this one has an old tatty collar and has a very short coat, such a shame.
