Beautiful dog. Sorry but I hope you ask for a home check with new owners, just to be sure dog wont be bought for wrong reasons
No offence intended

Have you asked breeder to take her back, any responsible one would insist
On having first refusal. I've had 2 back over the years, one aged 3 and one aged 2 for different circumstances, I found them both homes again, I couldn't bare the thought of my pups being sold on to god knows who and not knowing where they live. You've only had her about 5 weeks did you not read up on the breed before you got her. Taking her to puppy classes might also help to train her and you smile

yes i read up on the breed and if you read my post properly you will see it is not the dog at fault and any amount of puppy classes wont cure my toddler of heavy handiness

Apologise for not reading your post properly,

you was worried about your toddler being too rough with it so you sold it to a couple of young lads smack

I think what she meant was if her toddler was rough with the dog it may snap.

She is only looking out for her child.

why wont the dog be happy? do we all judge people soley on their age?

It may just be me but you were trying to sell the dog on this site, but you must have been touting it around the area to find "a couple of nice lads" who turn up with cash I know its a long shot but could you get some photo's of the dog in a couple of months.

Am I being cynical but I would not buy or sell a dog via your alternative methods. The mention of home checks is all important

SO EVERYONES HAPPY

Shoot me down I am not bothered.

She "may" of made a mistake selling the puppy to "some young lad"

This young lad may treat the dog as best as can be.

Don't presume that Angel hasn't looked out for both parties.

What i meant was , the dog was bought at about 8 weeks and 'sold on 'at 13 weeks, they have only had the dog 5 weeks , suggest to me that they either did not think it through properly or 'can,t 'be bothered to train, or deal with the child over playing ,there are ways of dealing with the situation. Dogs are for life....

The problem is if the puppy isn't trained properly, it could cause problems for other peoples children in the future. You're right we shouldn't judge because of age. Anyone of any age can mistreat a dog or train it for dog fights, that probably why people are worried about your dog. That's why checks on future owners are important.
