Birkenhead council kennels received an e mail last monday to inform them that in Dec there will be a vote as to whether to close the kennels or not.. Birkenhead will have no dog wardens and any stray dogs found will have to be taken to Halewood!! Please join the group.. "friends of Birkenhead council kennels" and offer your support xx

HELP NEEDED with regards to paper petition. We need people to print them off if they can and distribute them to their local vets, pet shops, supermarkets, corner shops and so on. The petition can be found in 'files'. Does anybody live near or goes to Larton for example? We need one there. Hard copies can also be obtained from the council kennels (afternoons between 2 and 4.30pm).
