Hiya
Need some info to ease my mind really
My female cat is 12 months old there abouts and last week I started to notice some changes in her
She kept licking her private parts crying a lot and running around like a maniac
I assumed she was in season her first season
The next night there was a male cat outside my back door
In the morning I caught them mating on the garage roof
This whent on for 2 days
The male cat didn't leave
Dose this
Mean she is pregnant?
Haven't had cats before so haven't a clue

Just need some guidance

Thanks

Presuming your queen cat has not been spayed it would be reasonable to assume that she is now with kitten.

Didn't know if it was like human terms if ya get me wink

Sarah, i did not know that our Moo cat was pregnant! I did not recognise 'season' symptoms. Did not see any Tom Cats lurking around either.
I think 'wait and see'. Gemcam had left home and saw that Moo was getting big-i just thought she was putting weight on due to regular feeding as Moo was a stray, herself.
She may have been pregnant when they brought her here.

maybe you should have got her done, just saying as so many cats needs homes,
i take it you will be doing homechecks ???

Yea you could be right rude
Just wondering
Dosnt bother us as the male cat was a Persian look alike
Like a lion head
He is beautiful
Pretty hoping she is but just was
Bugging me and thought I will ask
Lol

Bit late to get her done as she was already pregnant. Re. Homechecks, I have known the kittys owners for 22 yrs and 19 years respectivly, its all good. smile Mummy Moo is booked in to be spayed next week, when the bubbas are 12 weeks old, they won't do it beforehand.
Posted By: RUDEBOX Re: cat pregnancy - 19th May 2012 2:50am
Which is fair enough as Mummy Moo is still feeding them.
