My daughter has been pestering me all day to offer a home to a 9 month old kitten, called George.

She wasn't 100% truthfull about its original owner (coz she knows I dont like the 'owner')

Anyway, it now materialises that the 'owner' is more of a foster parent and provides food and water for the Feral.

So, now i have explained the circumstances, would it be wrong to re-name this unfortunate? i thought George was his birth name but its just the 'foster parent' name.

He arriving tomorrow. laugh

Decided.

The kitten has been neglected from its original parents of the Human Variety, so probably didnt have a name.

The 'foster parent' calls him George but at 9 months old and feral, i dont believe that this kitten recognises his name/ identity.

We have decided that this kitty shall from this day forward be known as 'Dave'. smile

I still upset from our Gingers' demise.

RIP 'The Ginge' frown 1997-2009

Thought I would never be able to love another cat but after hearing about Dave....

What I love about cats is how detached they are ?
There maybe a Major Drama' going on'- and they just sit there with their hind legs cocked in the air, chilling on it'

Cant wait to meet Dave x
