Interesting it looks as if it's had a major rebuild,the flat corner has gone and the windows made smaller,in the old piccy it looks as if it had an offy and they used that as an extension to the pub,but the main doors the arches look like a 50's style,remember Birkenhead Brewery doing up the Lord Exmouth in Exmouth St when I was a kid and they had similar arches on the main doors.

Missed out,it looks as if they bought the house next to the pub in the side st as that small doorway and window light look the same

I wonder if the basement from the old building is still used now, I saw the Queens basement and that was interesting, I reckon this basement could be worth a check, I think there could have a pub on this site longer than where the Queens is.
