if you cant give it to anyone leave it out in the rain for a few days---makes it easier to fold and trample down to fit in grey bin

CARDBOARD BOX ????!! You were lucky !!!!!
Posted By: GeeMeister Re: Large cardboard box - 16th Jan 2015 2:42am
You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt.

Paper bag luxury,we lived in a hole in the road and had to get up half an hour before we went to bed.

Also, for anyone with kids - with a bit of carving up and artwork it could be a castle, a boat, a den - etc etc! Hours of fun to be had. Toys don't have to be plastic.

See? Even on a discussion thread, it's amazing the fun you can have with a cardboard box...

They can also be handy in the bedroom if you take home an ugly one after a good drinking session smile
