You might remember these, from the olden days!! Once upon a time, everyone wanted one, to go with their Anti-shock CD Walkmans!

Only really need one to lend, can buy them in Halfords but they are £15.00 and I want to see what the sound quality is like first.

Just want to connect my HTC up to my car stereo, as the CD changer broke before I got the car, and fascia's are not easy to come by (ones that don't look shit anyway) - ive had an MP3/WMA head unit for 5 years, so don't need anyone to offer one of them.

Tar!

Firstly, can we keep on topic please folks.

It was a simple question, im not going backwards in technology, im looking for an option instead of having to pay £200 for a new CD changer. I may well get a fascia, but only the Kenwood OEM fascia's fit properly and look good, and being OEM, they were only ever supplied to MG Rover direct, and are therefore hard as fook to get hold of (usually on the rare occasion someone is breaking a 52 reg onwards 75/ZT or putting the sat-nav system in), and expensive when they do become available. Ive more technology in my living room than most people have had in their lives lol. If people don't have an adaptor, they've no need to post in this thread.

Just a word..................
I had one of these and it was brilliant in an older car. But....it wouldn't work in a newer car that had a modern stereo that sensed silence on the tape.

why dont you buy one of those mp3 fm transmitters ?? get one for £9.99 in the market in town that guy who fixes fones smile
Posted By: MattLFC Re: Wanted: 3.5" To Cassette Adaptor - 19th Aug 2009 4:44pm
Its an idea, but the only ones I seen so far were like £30 loooool! I aint goin back to town again, went there yday for the supposed £1 cassette mejigs, and they didnt av em anywhere, but I managed to spend a load of money on shit I didnt need lol.

Im thinking of getting a £50 fascia for me head unit now, shame the genuine OEM parts are so rare, and therefore expensive. Even more of a shame the fake's look shit!

Don't get a radio transmitter, unless you like constantly having to retune and picking up radio stations as well! I got three from pound land as well last year. I seriously saw some recently, but I can't remember where.
