Conley Thompson from Barnsley has been found dead, another great loss of life and no doubt many people including his mother will be grieving for him.

But what the heck is the mother thinking, letting a 7 year old go to and from a park 2 miles from home under his own supervision?

This level of poor parenting needs to be prosecuted, this is how kids become feral and become a nuisance to all of society!

totally agree,sad loss for all the family but cant help feeling it could have been prevented had his parents been more responsible and not let a 7yr old play out that far away from home!especially knowing what the current situation is with children being snatched ect!!not for one minuite saying this was foul play but it certainly was irrisponsible parenting!

From what is being said on the news it doesn't look like foul play but I agree what 7 year old is out on his own in this day & age especially that far from home.Heart goes out to the family but if the child wanted to go to the park the mother should of took him,I suppose the building site looked an attractive option to a 7 year old boy but not a safe option
