Seems to have cause a bit of damage in Russia.

That was a meteor which hit Russia, this will be an asteroid hopefully passing earth by 17,00 miles.

The one tonight is about 50m across, so with a pair of binoculars you should be able to see it as its meant to be a clear night.

If you think the 17,000 miles it misses us by is a long way away, the satellites you get your TV from are further away, it's pretty close.

i watched it on live feed it wasnt fantastic but at least i can say i watched it as it happened!! smile
