Its not what you know but who you know these day's regarding finding a decent paid job that is worth getting out of bed for.

i beg to differ, with smaller companies yeh it's who you know, but with larger companies (both private and public sectors) knowing someone doesn't count for anything tbh

Wow this is depressing, especially as I went for a job interview this morning and didn't really think it went well!!
