Take your pick mate, loads on the Wirral
Jug and bottle in heswall, its tapas food is lovely
Gusto Heswall, beautiful food, fantastic service and atmosphere. Also the Red House in Chester, overlooking the Dee, beuatiful location and food.
Penninsula in new Brighton bit of a wierd place for it but brilliant service and even better food
The Grange in Wallasey, it's a bit quaint but the food is always good and the service is excellent.
Lovely food but not enough of it,you'll need a takeaway on the way home.
I love going to the Steak House on the Liscard Road - the food in there is lovely. they don't just steaks, they do pizza's, burgers, italian pasta dishes..but the steaks they do are to die for...the best ones I have had in years!!
Whats the steak house called in Leasowe?
Peninsula inn in new brighton is top notch, amazing food , excellent service. . Very reasonable for size of portions too!
Julians restaurant is good too x
Marsh Cat Parkgate. Never been disappointed with the quality/ menue there.

will second the olive tree, great food and it wont brake the bank. only thing is can get very busy in there so worth booking.

Whereabouts is this? I fancy giving it a go.
This is nice, eaten there twice. Once was on their Menu Black (unadvertised I think) but sublime.
The other was OK.
There's a rather large waiting list if I understand correctly so if you need something short notice then forget it.
Grill Room at Hillbark is unique in that it's meant to be their 'lesser' restaurant but it's actually their best - forget the Yellow Room.
The place you need to go to is Nova;
http://novarestaurant.co.uk/Seriously, kick all others into touch and go there.
I doubt you'll find anything better for miles around.

No. You clearly don't understand fine dining.
Nice, but limited choice.

Olive Tree? Enough said.
All those eateries & not asingle Macdolds amonst them, wiki readers are obviously upper class diners
My dining table is an excellent choice..only when I am in the mood to cook though.. :-)
Upstairs in 'Rock Station' public house opposite Rock Ferry train station is excellent.
Reasonable prices and lovely service.
Families with children allowed.
The Manor pre 7pm and it is a cheaper menu iirc, also the Green Room in west kirby (that if it is still there lol) both co-owned by the same people as far as I know.
The River Hill in Oxton
Mr Chows for Chinese
cheers guys and gals. some good suggestions on there, places i havent eaten before.
has anybody ate at the leverhulme hotel before?
also been recommended to me is the wheatsheaf inn (the cowshed) in raby

Leverhulme Hotel link is at top of page two. Apparently, it is spot on.
Wheatsheaf at Raby..nice but such a long time since I was there. Wasn't fine dine then, bit more like a barn.
Anyone been to the new White Lounge in Liscard? What about Chutneys?
I'm off to the Lighthouse in Wallasey - any recommendations? What is the Mexican Basket Chilli like?
Peninsula dining room excellent good prices
Fraiche good but soulless
Leverhulme pretentious but good food
Nova excellent but wine expensive
Depends why you want the meal for
I love the Manor in Greasby always been reasonable when ive been and lovely food, I need to try Marsh Cat so many people I know have said its their favourite
