The Grange in Wallasey, it's a bit quaint but the food is always good and the service is excellent.

This is nice, eaten there twice. Once was on their Menu Black (unadvertised I think) but sublime.

The other was OK.

There's a rather large waiting list if I understand correctly so if you need something short notice then forget it.

Grill Room at Hillbark is unique in that it's meant to be their 'lesser' restaurant but it's actually their best - forget the Yellow Room.

The place you need to go to is Nova;

Seriously, kick all others into touch and go there.

I doubt you'll find anything better for miles around.

Upstairs in 'Rock Station' public house opposite Rock Ferry train station is excellent.

Reasonable prices and lovely service.

Families with children allowed.

The Manor pre 7pm and it is a cheaper menu iirc, also the Green Room in west kirby (that if it is still there lol) both co-owned by the same people as far as I know.

The River Hill in Oxton

Mr Chows for Chinese

Leverhulme Hotel link is at top of page two. Apparently, it is spot on.

Wheatsheaf at Raby..nice but such a long time since I was there. Wasn't fine dine then, bit more like a barn.

Peninsula dining room excellent good prices
Fraiche good but soulless
Leverhulme pretentious but good food
Nova excellent but wine expensive
Depends why you want the meal for
