Hello Karenjon have you tried asking the butchers? I have got it from our butchers when i needed it
asked in sainsburys said they didn't know
Ask in a real butchers raftl
need it for sat got nice piece of belly pork fron marks gonna do recipe i saw on telly by james martin
I use any old string & it hasn't killed me yet!

If it's the plain white string - looks almost as if it's been bleached, try W.H. Smith's. I bought a ball of it from there last Christmas.

you can buy string from most post offices its safe to use just the same as butchers string only slightly thinner or whsmiths i used to be a chef so thats were we got ours if we ran out,or yes just ask your local butcher there always glad to help,hope it tastes great
