slow cookers any good ?

Good for letting something cook while your at work, althought it needs to be on for like 8hrs

will feel bit strange leaving on while out.

Chop a load of veg up and throw it in, half cover it with stock (could use Oxo), sear some beef and cut it up, lob it in.
