How to make rice crispie cakes - 10th Mar 2008 8:18pm
Me and the missus were bored the other night and decided to make some rice crispie cakes using Mint Chocolate Aeros
Would be good fun for anyone with kids to have a go at making....
You will need:
Chocolate (approx. 1 average bar per cake)
Spoon
Bowl
Plate
Cake cases (not needed, but less messy)
Microwave
Fridge or Freezer
So buy lots of your fave choccy - in this case 4 bars of Mint Aeros.
Break the chocolate up into a bowl
Place the bowl in the microwave and microwave for about a minute.
Take out the bowl (Be careful it will be VERY hot as I found out the hard way) and stir the chocolate so it is all melted. Microwave a bit longer if necessary, but not too long as it will start to burn.
Stir in some rice crispies until they are all covered in chocolate.
Put them into the cake cases or shape them into crispie cake form and put them on a plate lol
Place them in the freezer for about 5 minutes - Make sure the middle is set or as you break them off the plate they will just fall apart.
Enjoy
