indeed, hence the name.

Another one is that they brought and endorsed the typical 19th and 20th century image of santa to America - red coat, white beard e.t.c

Also, Dr Pepper was orignally made from prunes

Thats untrue Joe, the name Coca Cola didnt actually have anything to do with Cocaine, as it was only a trace bi-product of the coca leaves, the name actually derived from the miture of [Coca] leaves and [Kola] nuts, which were originally used to flavour the drink.

The Santa fact is also a common misconception. Santa Claus as we all know was originally blue. But sometime in the 1850's people started painting images of him in red. And it started to catch on prior to 1885, when Coca Cola was invented. In fact, it was not until the 1930's that Coca Cola actually started advertising using a red Santa Clause, by which time the image of a red Santa was already becoming commonplace across the western world anyway.

Even thats probably a mis-conception smack

Lol, its easy enough to make these mistakes though, as pretty much the whole world is told of these misconceptions as facts. I only know cos I used to be addicted to Coca Cola (well, I wasnt actually, cos I stopped drinking it with no problem at all, but everyone said I was as I was drinking like 4 litres a day at one point lmao).

You know me, full of useless information haha!
