Hi, has anybody seen a white 10ft dinghy? it slipped its mooring from new ferry in the early hours of this morning without a trace. it has a green stem with tyres bolted over the top. if anybody comes across it can you pm me please.
Many thanks
Kris
Have you spoke to the coastguard, one was on the loose a few weeks ago and was found by the pilot boat opposite Seacombe and was recovered by the fire brigade rib, those lads will know if one was in the Mersey, didn't hear on the radio about one today, if it had gone past Perch rock we would have seen it, there was a porpoise watch team at the fort today as well if they had seen one the would have notified people.
If you dont like the thread don't
comment ste simple. Yewgarth has lost his dingy what prob owes him a few quid and is asking for help
well said raymond, classic case of post bumping lol
dinghy found by the pilot boat in the end, many thanks to all those concerned
I guess it is still floating then Yewgarth. Not too much damage I hope.
Nice one, the river may look quiet at times but there's lots of eyes watching it, Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and the pilots are always on the ball when it comes to the river.
no damage at all thanks Moonstar
Glad you got her back safe and sound. How did she slip her moorings ? Rope chafed through, or have you got to go on the Knots for Beginners course again?
nothing wrong with the knot, it just wasnt tied to anything lol
