Just took the dog out for a 'piss and a sniff'. The old 'Wharf pub' grounds are now full of Caravans and Caravan-ettes.

I prefer the american term 'carnies'. Association with carnivals suggests a little more joie de vivre.

I was brought up in Seacombe, moved to New Bighton at 20yrs old. Have never looked back, but always remember where I came from and never denigh it!
I must add though that the peeps there now are not mainly Wallasey people!
The Wiki lot are though, love you all XXXX
Posted By: RUDEBOX Re: Travellers in Seacombe - 28th May 2011 8:34pm
Ive had no grief with scally neighbours etc. Apart from the Bridges. Seacombe looks run down, in some parts. Birkenhead Rd past the new houses wink looks like Guesthouse Paradiso for instance but generally the people are ok.
As for the travellers, ive heard no 'reports'. They 'out of the way', they left their patio furniture etc outside their caravans.
Posted By: Capt_America Re: Travellers in Seacombe - 28th May 2011 9:31pm
Wait till they come back and there are no wheels on the caravans!
Posted By: MissGuided Re: Travellers in Seacombe - 29th May 2011 3:27pm
Probably the same group that had set themselves up in the car park at the end of Green Lane, by Leasowe Golf Couse...
Posted By: RUDEBOX Re: Travellers in Seacombe - 29th May 2011 3:39pm
Theres still only 6. All the caravanettes are the same- white.

These are gypsies not travellers, I met them the other day, they were looking for car batteries and cats.
They were carted off the site by security lol.

They have precious metals such as gold in them.

They chop them up to get the gold out.
Posted By: KevinFinity Re: Travellers in Seacombe - 7th Jun 2011 2:54pm
They like to make animals into clothing just like Montgomery Burns.
