Just been told there has been a bus crash at the bus station down town anyone down there?

Happened about 20 minutes ago, on the main road just before the bus terminal outside Argos, knocked down the traffic lights and railings.

Any pictures?

i was there nearly got hit buy a railing an the top of the lights hit my lil girls pram lucky she had the raincover down

No sorry, it involved a bus and a white transit van.

it was to bus 411 an the 410 no i dnt jabber did'nt hang ab more shocked than anything

u can still get in touch with the police to let them know what you saw, may be important, and the fact you were nearly hit and your buggy was struck should be known to them i reckon !

if the ask for witness i will go but i won't be n a hurry to catch a bus next time i'll stick to the trains lol

I was waiting at the traffic lights alongside the bus which was at the bus stop lay by.The bus suddenly shot forward very rapidly, taking out the railings and traffic lights and scraping along a bus in front of me.I can only think that it was a mechanical malfunction or the driver had some sort of seizure.

Your right there who else is tracked all day and timed to the second. They can't do this and can't do that but have loads more to do, in less time. Get hold of a timetable and work out the time they have to drive from point a to point b and see what I mean.

Is it just me or is that the third bus crash in as many weeks?

seen the police cars there etc when the big towing truck came for the bus. 4 police cars there well long after the crash.

I think a 409 went into a 401, or the other way round. The bus that crashed into the other had a fault on the accelerator. The police have taken it away to investigate this claim. Apart from another bus and a traffic light, the bus took out an unmarked car full of C.I.D. officers. Also the bus that got hit was being driven by the Laird Street Depot's boss.
I can smell some claims. Half of Birkenhead will claim to have been on the buses and now have something wrong their necks.

So have we ended up with an 810, a 405 or an 8 ??? (or possibly two 405s)
