Posted By: Rossyboy WARNING!!! Someone pulled a knife on me in Upton - 18th Dec 2008 12:37pm
I was at the upton mcdonalds last nite goin through the drive through and when I got past the last window 2 chav fookin scumbags walked in front of the car and 1 started saying something to me. I ignored him and moved off again, looked around and he was walking towards my car shouting something then he put his hand in his coat and pulled a massive kitchen knife out and carried on walking towards the car holding the knife and like slashing at thin air as he was walking. Cant put a description up as he had his hood up and a scarf covering the bottom half of his face. Just a warning coz I know a lot of modified car owners go to upton mackies.
Maybe he works for Burger King
no too many knobs threatening people with knives.

I bet if it really came to it and you jumped out your car with something to Grrr fook out of him with, he'd run a mile
wha time was this about as i was down there with a couple mates last night

Also did you tell the police?
you should of run him over......car vs knife weilding prock, I know who my money is on.
Yeah, why not go round again and run him over? laugh
Or you could have gone over to Sainsbury's and bought a bigger kitchen knife than the one he was carrying.

Its annoying to think what you could have done, after the event has passed.
What a complete Cnut! I deffo would of ran him over no question about it. atleast if he is the one lying on the floor under your car its not you in a pool of blood.

then call the police. he would still have the knife in his posession.
Eye, loads of revs and drop the clutch grin
ive just punched fook out of my bed imagining it was his head, the little prick, i really want to smash his skull up
running him over would be considered reasonable force in the situation...no issues there.
If you're in the car, surely the first thing to do would be too close the windows and lock the doors. If they then tried to gain entry to the car, i would then drive off, whether people were standing in front of the car or not.
Do they have CCTV up there?? Chances are, these little scrotes are well known annoyances!!

it is nice to have an expert opinion here to wether or not using your car would be allowed.

hmm..hes threatening your life..you are allowed to take reasonable steps to defend it...and therefore if it was a case of i was scared..and floored it to escape...not a problem...as long as you told us about it asap!
I shall not divulge particular persons involved..but shall we say i was aware of a very similar instance happening..and in court there was no problems....
I know, but you do hear case's were people have acted in situations like this and ended up coming off far worse than the attacker
Or protecting things like their own lives, family and property...but end up the ones being prosecuted, such as the case with the Farmer a few years ago.

I was in Upton last night with some mates. No gangs hanging round that we saw, so hopefully it was a one off case, and not a Sean mercer CopyCat pratt.

Also, you can tell the mentality of the lad who pulled the knife, knowing theres a police station literally round the corner !!

he got done becasue the guy was running away from him..and he shot him in the back...his life wasnt exactly being threatened....

thats why he got done!

ill think ull find that we have leant far more to the victims side in cases like this in recent years..and will continue to do so
I think 'flooring it' would be classed as excessive force, as he bounces off your bonnet and over the car. Go forward normally, giving him every chance to get away, if they still don't move, then you have no option but to push them away with your car
If someone was weilding a knife at me, Id want out of there asap omg

Excessive would be a consious decision to reverese back over him and finish the job think

i have to go with stu on this one...its the reversing that makes it excessive!!!!

the siuation im thinkin of whereby a police officer believed the male had a knife...and then mounted the kerb and ran him over in order to apprehend him....is what im referrring to as reasonable force used... raftl pc

wink

raftl

On a more serious note, and I think It may have already been mentioned - does Upton Maccys drive through not have CCTV think
I remember very well when there was around 5 cw members in upton maccies parked up by the bypass and a gang of around 6 lads appeared from out of the bushes and smashed pingu's escort to pieces, be careful in that car park, although its shelter etc etc, there are alot of chav ... knockin round.
the cctv is very limited and only pretty much on the cashiers and just past them.....very much doubt its been upgraded
and cctv doesnt stop u getting attacked..hence why they hide their faces...very difficult to ID them..even with cctv unless you can see their face
I LIKEEE Audits description of "reasonable force"!!
Best to run over him first.... THEN... drive round the drive-in again and run over him again!!! Only one direction, difficult to prove you did it twice!! thumbsup raftl
sorry to hear it. whoever said you can tell the mentallity of the lad with the police around the corner hit the nail on the head.

glad you didn't confront him just incase it turned out even worse than it already was. best thing to do is get away if something like that happens.
Want to see "Hoodies Face" then get one of those million candlepower torches from Aldi. It will light up his face so you can use your mobile to happy slap the event. It should blind him/her for long enough.

Your obviously going soft in your old age Sanchez, you shouldn't hold back so much ... wink
well, what can you do when your abit wound up and you need to exert some energy, its softer than the floor or wall !
Unfortunately this isnt a one off.

Recently a friend was in the car park when a number of lads came over and got in his Subaru. They then hi-jacked the car with him still in it, mounting kerbs and trying to crash and run people over. Eventually he got the car back and he was caught and prosecuted.

Another time another friend was parked up playing music and a group came over and started kicking off. He of course argued back and in the end he had to drive away quickly before the situation got worse.

Both happened against the bushes backing onto the main road in the maccies car park.

I go in there myself now and then and id suggest going to either the far end opposite the maccies, near the entrance to homebase or sainies cash machine, or as central as possible so if anyone unsavoury enters the car park it give you chance to drive away / get a good run up to run the fuckers over.
withthat

Thats whats happened to pingu, as soon as the police came they had a massive man hunt, found them then identified them by their shoe prints as the stupid fookers jumped all over his car, put i would never park by those bushes ever again.
if i lived down there id be so tempted to go down there and actually run the c*nts over lol - easy to say things like this when im 300 miles away tho - just as well tho!
Probley pilled up or sumthin lil idiot, they really think they are sumthin, nothin more than a scally
handbag
it was about 23:10, i phoned the police as soon as i got away from there. I was with my girlfriend so didnt wana do sumfin to scare her, didnt tell her he got a knife out till we where well up the road hahaha. There was just him n his mate, there wasnt a gang of them. fookin prick, if i saw his face id be out lookin for him now. hope someone pulls a knife on him but fookin uses it.
little b@stards! why would you hang around in a car in a car park anyway?
i went to get a drink from mcdonalds, i wasnt hanging around in my car in the car park
i meant the chavs!
"I meant the chavs!"

A chain is much more fun, use as a whip across the chops wink
flexability a major enhancement and they wont have chance to run off coz they will be on the floor in agony whilst your kicking them in the face laugh

my chains for my steering wheel smile

Yeah, right............ Peace off man!!!!!
Theres only one language the scrotes of today understand and thats good - hard - VIOLENCE!!!!!!!!!!!
Fook diplomacy and social workers crap, they all know the difference between good n bad, lets not piss pot about n sort our probs out in the open!!!!!
When i was a kid, i had it knocked into me, i still respect elders (im 43!!) and know when taking things too far is actually TAKIN IT TOO FAR!! I was always in trouble with the police, but i was never a scrote or scumbag!!
People need to inflict their own justice!!
Why cant the victim choose the punishment in court!! The guilty one dishes out the punishment to the victim in the first place!!!
VIVA the do gooder society, think i will turn to crime, its actually easier than keeping to the straight n narrow!!! yes

Thats actually quite a good idea, i think that would work quite well in keeping the crime rate down clap

it seems that prison or the courts are no longer a detterant in todays society due to people no longer being afraid of them. In fact there are quite a few who would rather be in prison (or just dont care).
