Can admin make this sticky of poss please.

Woke up at 6am to find my XE GSi stolen off the drive.

Reg No M120 HJU, stolen from Upton, Wirral, Merseyside.

Car hasn't been started for around 2 months and had no battery on it so were assuming it was towed away (snapped steering lock and manuvered between 3 cars from the back of the drive)

All parts are identifiable by marks or individual aspects to them or by the fact they are custom to my car (exhaust, springs etc)

Please keep a look out for parts and if you have suspisions they could be off my car then please call 07905157570.

Can't describe how gutted I am, built the car up from a standard GSi over the last 4 years and done all the work bar repaint myself, I would rather of them took my S3, could of just got another one, thats not an option with the Corsa frown

Thanks for the reply's.

Think its being looked at as an organised crime, a van was stolen 3 minutes from my house, this was used to tow my car away and also steal 2 motorbikes from a garage locally.

I have spoken to the guy who had his bikes stolen and as with my car normally there would be no way to remove them, this leads us to believe both my house and his garage where being watched.

He is also a police officer which means that things should get a nice push smile

Thats rather handy mate! Hope they can catch these fookers and give them a custodial sentence (a reminder to Labour, that means sending criminals to prison).

Unlucky mate, hope they get caught.

Nightmare, unusual that they would go to so much trouble to snap steering lock, tow it between 3 cars etc for a few hundred quid Corsa.

Hope it gets sorted mate.

Corsa parts are easy to shift, command a high price and as they are second hand can be sold on ebay with out a trace.

the engine can be taken out and the number want match the body because it's a transplant anyway, the alleso wheels still go for £300 plus, engine £150-200, GSI bumpers £200?? all other bits will get a few bob for so these cars can still get quite a bit of money, hence taking the corsa rather than the S3, as the S3 parts can be traced.

i'd say from a breakers point of view the car could get atleast 1400 from just that.

my neighbour is selling a Calibra V6 for 500 atm no tax or mot, quick run through of parts at a guess is 700.

Hope you get the corsa back, or atleast get the B@stards who took it.

Sadly not, found a few bits myself in the weeks after it was taken and someone was charged with the theft but the car never turned up.
