The ethnic cleansing of the Chagossians, by the UK Government, from there beautiful island home and the killing of their pets dogs and their subsequent treatment is another stain on our country..UK Government have issued a statement 40 years later saying they will not be allowed back. Corruption ,lies ,dirty tricks and cover ups paved the way for them to be removed from their homes to allow the US Military to build an airforce base in the late 1960s and 1970s.

Wasn't it around there that underwater nuclear tests and others were done?
There were radiation tests done on other islands after the WWII. Don't know where though. A neighbour from years ago was part of it. He died from leukemia in his 50's.

There is also a conspiracy that the Tsunami near there in 2004, was artificially created by a 'Tsunami Bomb'.
