Sad and frightening to think that can happen when peoples disagree and dodgy people in power. Weve done are fair share of causing devastation --Dresden

So when people spout 'Send them back'. I ask again 'Where to'? and to what?

Western country leaders and politicians have caused this shit.....

Not too sure about it being the fault of the West or anyone else.

It's civil war between President Bashar al-Assad's government and rebel forces, who want him out.

2000 yrs of history, gone in most of it.

You know I'm talking about recent times.....

Recent times is the civil war Rude, started 4 years ago. President of Syria asked Russia to go in and help, as did rest of them after IS had got a stronghold.

Reminds me of tolstoy quote again about the mad savage human race...."as long as theres slaughter houses therell be battlefields"
The human race love klling things....anyone&animals
They love conflict above all
True enlightenment as a destrucive species wont come till we just get on....
And im an atheist
Charlton heston " man ,that marvel of the universe ,the paradox of stars does he still make war with his brother and keep his neigbours children starving ?"

True Sven. We all thought great thing would happen after John Lennon released 'Imagine'. we thought all things would be resolved when Russia reduced it's nuclear arsenal. Pipe dreams ! we will never 'get on' for long enough to make a difference.
You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.

So true.

However, I would like to know who advises these political heads of States.

Tony Blair, destroys Iraq, because of the possibility of WMD and accusing Saddam Hussein of killing his own, even though the invasion destroyed many more lives, but Blair was great pals with Gadaffi.

Cameron , involved in getting rid of Gaddafi and blasting Libya, for what reason ? I forget. Was it something to do with threats to kill his own people ?
Well, that's reversed rolls now, the people are killing the people instead and the corrupt and criminals have obviously taken control.
Cameron has never really uttered a word about that attack on Libya, since. Why was it necessary ?

Who is at the helm. Both actions and resulting dreadful atrocities have caused untold upheaval for Europe and the world and I can't believe that this was not called for by a higher level in world affairs to de-stabilize nations.. just can't think who or what would be so stupid and not foresee the pitfalls, and no plan to follow.

In these instances Rude is correct, but there has to be someone else at the root. A new Prime Minister like Cameron, is not going to make such rash decisions without huge pressure, when he had only just taken office .

War and conflict is a big business it makes the world go round, governments and arms dealers are one and the same, take for example the Falklands conflict, France, Israel, selling armaments to Argentina, yet they all sleep in the same bed when it suits.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or in the holy name of liberty or democracy.

So true Casper. It is the corrupt politicians and government that caused this. Its the USA that started most of this.

yet there are still a lot of people who don't believe in the illuminati, and think our world leaders are looking after us, l suppose it's better to bury our heads in the sand, even though we have a fair idea as to what these deviant's are up to

Deviants ? I like that description, because it fits precisely .

Personally, I think we should be looking further afield and study the Israeli / Arab situation, which has long been an issue. Israel were instrumental in the Iraq war, Israel have been instrumental in many conflicts, and note they go quiet, whilst everything else is heightened.
There are Israelis in positions of power connected to most western countries, and as everyone has virtually been gagged , we aren't told the truth about who or how the strings a pulled. We can't criticize a J-w, or Zion..t,(which is a political party) so are we able to say Israel or Israeli or are they now pretending they don't exist ?
Israel has support throughout the Western world, and dictate via members of their organisations, to every other Western leader. Most in Governments have connections one way or another and Israel always seem to be involved in some sort of major negotiation .

They are always at war with one or another, they have been in conflict with Syria since 1948 or about then.

That is yet another reason to be out of the EU, because Europe is becoming more and more under the influence.

If the truth be known ,this article was probably the other way around and stage managed accordingly.

Cameron: We must stay in EU to influence Europe’s approach to Israel

2/3 consecutive days of news. Has it been in the mainstream news?

http://observer.com/2016/09/swaggering-syria-shoots-at-israeli-jets-flying-towards-war/

Until now Israel had a carte blanche to fly over Syrian airspace. They did as they wished, and there was no significant response. Israel had a relatively free hand. That ended on Tuesday when Syrian President Bashar Assad began implementing his decision to change the entire status quo and push Israel out of Syrian airspace and off the offensive.
The Syrian press, which Israel closely monitors, declared that their High Command repelled Israeli aggression. According to the official statement released by the government to the press, “The high command issued an order at 1 a.m. to strike at the aggressive Israeli attack.” The statement also claimed that Syria “downed an Israeli plane west of Kunetra.”

Israel's Iron Dome rocket defense system on Saturday shot down two stray "projectiles" fired during fighting in Syria's civil war, Israel's military said.

There has been frequent spillover of fighting between the factions in Syria into the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, but this was the first time Iron Dome was activated to intercept the errant fire.

"An additional projectile fired from Syria was intercepted by the Iron Dome aerial defense system. No injuries reported," the military said in a statement, shortly after the system had first activated.

Israel usually retaliates with air strikes against battle stations in Syria.

and now.....BBC news
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-37398721

The US-led coalition has admitted its planes carried out an attack in eastern Syria that the Russian army says killed at least 62 Syrian troops fighting IS.

The US said its planes halted the attack in Deir al-Zour when informed of the Syrian presence and would not knowingly strike them.

The strikes allowed IS jihadists to advance, the Russians said.

Russia earlier said the current ceasefire in Syria was in danger of collapse and the US would be to blame.

The cessation of hostilities does not include attacks by the US on IS or other jihadist groups

(This last 'interesting' story from 2009,relating to 2007, also mentions Deir ez Zuir ') NB. If you read all pages of this article, Mossad is Israeli Intelligence Agency.

"In September 2007, Israeli fighter jets destroyed a mysterious complex in the Syrian desert. The incident could have led to war, but it was hushed up by all sides. Was it a nuclear plant and who gave the orders for the strike?

Nothing seems to be improving, does it ? Did anyone see the programme on ITV last night about the orphaned Syrian children ? Pretty heart wrenching . One lad wants to go back to his parents in a Turkish camp, but the Turkish authorities won't allow him across the border ! It doesn't make sense.
Regard to Aleppo and the bombing and killing of innocents , I do wonder why they stay there. Someone talking on Hardtalk the other night was explaining that there is a checkpoint between East Aleppo (fighting zone) and West Aleppo. They can cross the checkpoint if they wish to. Obviously they don't wish t, which makes me wonder if those in East Aleppo are all Rebels and ISIS with their families. Surely anyone innocent and with any sense and young children would choose to leave the area if they could ? It could be that even the hospitals are being run by the same groups for their own people and maybe another possibility is that the Rebels or ISIS are holding people as human shields too, which obviously isn't working for them at the moment.
Whatever is the truth, we are tired of all of this, but they must be exhausted and the poor children from whichever side of the camp they might be placed, must be terrified.

Dangerous times we are living in granny, any robust action taken against the Russians could light the blue touchpaper to WW3, Putin has been sabre rattling since Ukraine, is he looking for an excuse?

I too am also puzzled at why people remain in East Allepo if there is a safer place, surely they could at least move the women and children out, the only reason I can think of is that they see them as a shield against the bombing, well it hasn't worked, and the children are paying the price.

The trouble is there are so many different agenda's going on its hard to tell what is happening with any clarity, most of the Arab States appear oblivious to whats happening on the face of it, but then as ever it's tribal and religion reasons, whatever the reasons it's Europe that is taking the strain of the refugees.

Outside involvement has only made things worse instead of better, and should cease now from both sides, only humanitarian aid should be allowed, but easier said than done.
Posted By: snowhite Re: Before and After Aleppo,Syria - 5th Oct 2016 9:18am
Blame Russia?
USA is at fault here, Obama and Clinton are the ones who are the culprits.
USA is stopping all aid getting to Syria.
Putin is not the bad one where Syria is concerned
Posted By: casper Re: Before and After Aleppo,Syria - 5th Oct 2016 9:47am
They all have their own agenda's and they are certainly not for the good of the people of Syria, its easy to deny responsibility for what would be deemed as war crimes, because they all point the finger at each other, however to look at it logically who have aircraft and the capability? who shot down or supplied the means to shoot down a civil aircraft over Ukraine? and who has denied any association, involvement or responsibility for it?
