Anyone know of an aid agency you can give online that doesnt make it mandatory to give them your address and answer silly questions. Tried a paypal payment with one agency and a mandatory question was "why are you giving" and list 20 options!!. I know you can opt out of receiving email spam. I dont want to give money only to have them spend it on glossy brochures to post out to me.

Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) have a number of ways to do that

Thanks Salmon. Managed it with paypal and just put anonymous against all the mandatory fields and it seemed to accept it.

Good for you, what a shockingly awful thing to happen.

Words don't come so easily at such times, and they seem to mean even less.
Maybe the best way to show our shared grief, is to give what we can and I'm sure, as a nation , we will do that.
It is dreadful and tragic . Thanks for this link Salmon.

I've tried to send cash via SMS, that didn't go through.

So I tried Paypal and it comes up with

"Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again."

Tried both options where the receiver pays the fee and the option where the receiver gets the full amount and I pay the fee.

You can send a cheque as a last resort but that may not get the gift aid supplement.
