Appeal court judges in London have agreed with the Attorney General that the sentence of fifteen months prison handed out to child molester Stuart Hall was unduly lenient
The sentence was increased in accordance with guidelines in force at the time of the offences and has in fact been doubled

Hall will now serve thirty months in prison

Still not good enough!

still not enough...but i guess it is a better result..there are restricted how long they can give..can't believe his wife is standing by him..

Will probably only serve half but at least its double what he was going to serve.

more people have given statements against him so there should be another trial and fingers crossed no concurrent sentences handed out.

What I didnt realise was the judges can only give the sentences of the time the crimes were committed. That's why they seem so out of touch with reality. There are calls for the law to be updated.
