Just for those who are interested.

Please, let's not make this a rant about cost and the rights & wrongs of a Royal Family.

The Duchess of Cambridge was hoping for a son and her wish has come true, after she gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon.

The baby weighed 8lbs 6oz and was born at 4.24pm, the palace said.

"Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight," Kensington Palace said in a statement.

"The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.

David Cameron said in a statement: "I'm delighted for the Duke and Duchess now their son has been born. The whole country will celebrate. They'll make wonderful parents."

The official notice of birth has left St Mary's Hospital and is making its way towards Buckingham Palace.

The new royal baby is third in line to the throne and a future king. A great-grandchild to the Queen - her third - the newborn will also one day be crowned sovereign.

If the baby follows after the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge as king, he will be the 43rd monarch since William the Conqueror obtained the crown of England.

The baby's uncle, Prince Harry, now moves to fourth in line to the throne, while the Duke of York shifts down to fifth and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to sixth and seventh place.

In the interest of racial and religious harmony they have decided to name him Prince Mohammed.

Glad that as parents they have a healthy child...

But people in this country have weird priorities.

Those throwing parties over it are those that should put more effort into getting a job.

Do please try to lighten up Pablo, your last few posts are starting to make you look like a rather foolish malcontent.

What name do you think he will have Miss M ?

I think he will be Prince James

Just seen there are 25,000 tweets per minute about the royal baby. That's a lot of tweets and a lot of love from the world.

Obscene, disgusting and Shameful, Whilst Our Children are queuing up at the food banks and are facing homelessness and poverty.
This birth and the big Hoo Ha surrounding it is simply just another reminder of the evil being inflicted upon our poor, vulnerable, disabled and displaced brothers and sisters in the United Kingdom!!!

Never mind the other 2,000 births that occurred yesterday.

What a load of noise about nothing.

Some rection about the baby from the Daily Telegraph.

"I'm pretty sure I know what the new Royal baby will be called -
A spoilt little barsteward!"

"American's seem pretty excited about the royal baby.
They shouldn't be.
They had their choice."

"Why did they say Duchess Kate went into "labour?" The royals have never worked a day in their lives."

"My money is on the royal baby being called James after his Granddad."

"I've got a terrible hangover from celebrating the royal birth.
And now my wife expects me to visit her in hospital because the stuck-up bitch thinks our new baby is more important."

"The royal couple are said to be naming the baby after one of their most famous ancestors.
Personally, I think Adolf is a terrible name."

The negativity and the hatred saddens me. At the end of the day a young couple have given birth to a healthy child and that (and every other birth) should be cause to celebrate. For those worrying about the taxpayers burden, there are many children being born into taxpayer funded families in these difficult times but each and everyone is a gift. Peace and love everyone.

That also is very wrong.

If you can't afford a kid then you don't have the right to have one!!!! If the lazy tossers get pregnant then it should be illegal not to have a termination.

(Different argument though, and nothing to do with the prince).

I am of the same mind though, if you can't afford a child (like me) then don't have one. I also don't believe in accidents as there are far too many options available to everyone these days ie; birth control, morning after pill etc. But at the end of the day every child that is born is a precious life and should be celebrated regardless of perceived class.

It's all good people.
Posted By: Pablo Re: It's a BOY - 23rd Jul 2013 11:19pm
Oh absolutely.

I just cringe at those being born into couples who can't even look after themselves.

You have the right attitude and i hope circumstances change and allow you to give a beautiful child the upbringing it deserves.

They were hardly going to call him Kai or North or some equally shit name were they?

That was the bookies favourite and fairly obvious.

It's a good job Charles's mate, and general royal hanger-on, Sir Jimmy Savile wasn't still alive. Don't think he'd be first choice for baby-sitting anymore.
