Speaking of Bootneck spirit, a friend of mine is using a handcycle to ride round the country to raise funds for 4 Armed Forces charities. He's a triple amputee with a massive lust for life and keeps setting himself up with these manic challenges! He ran across America 2 years ago in the Gumpathon! The guy is mental 
They'll be arriving on the Wirral on 25th September and leaving on the 26th to carry on with their mammoth ride back to Plymouth.
Mark (Rammers) is a lovely guy, a fabulous role model, husband and father, not to mention a bloody good mate to many and a source of inspiration.

It would be great if there were a lot of people there to welcome them, cheer them on and give as much or as little as you can spare. I know we're in a recession and we're all skint but every penny will make a huge difference to the lives of our Servicemen and Women
