Malcolm McLaren, the former manager of punk group the Sex Pistols, has died in New York, aged 64, his agent has said.

He was far more involved in the promotion of new and upcoming bands than anybody realises, Buffalo Girls and Double Dutch were just two he put his name on (which I loved back in the day).

You know when you are getting old when you attend more funerals than weddings.
