That is quite freaky - especially the comparison photo that shows you what it normally looks like in the day.

Our IT guy/Office Manager lives over there and emailed us a picture he took - I'll upload it in a bit. They're supposed to be doing a race over the bridge this weekend but looks like it may be called off due to the dust storms.

Imagine bein in the top of a tower block over there, i think it'd be quite scary

Don't forget people it's all due to Global Warming or is it climate change this week,watched the news last night and some idiots were out jogging in it,the last time I seen anything like that was in Saudi Arabia a big dust storm outside Riyadh,it,s great if you are repainting your car and need to go down to bare metal :-)

Reminds me of the London smogs of the '50s and '60s, which were actually worse because of the poluting chemicals, mainly from the large amount of coal burned in those days!
Times do get better....in some ways!

seen the same thing in Melbourne in the sixties Global warming??

you should of seen Canberra the day before, it was horrible all the white cars went a sickly shade of red :D, it felt the end of the world. don't forget i live down in aus in the nations capital
