But the PM said the Tory leader sounded "more like a used car salesman".

Some green groups say the tax should apply to new cars only, rather than all cars bought since 2001.

Owners of some of the oldest cars could face a tax rise of as much as £200 - a move which the Conservatives and many Labour MPs say will hit poorer drivers the hardest.

Gordon Brown and Labour are an absolute pisstake, they just take take take take take take from the poorest people to feed the richest, I hope to god Al Quaeda would bomb Downing St with them asleep, in fact, id fookin help them!!

I wouldnt even spit on Gordon Brown if I saw him burning alive!!

Everyone, literally everyone feels the same mate, its yet another scandel by Labour, another stealth tax, and we are all going to lose out as a result.

Cameron argued though mate:
Quote
He said the road tax rise was "not a green tax, it's a stealth tax". "What on earth is green about taxing someone who bought a Ford Mondeo five years ago?"

"This affects working people with second-hand cars. When they have to come next year and renew their road tax, they are going to get a pretty big shock when they have got another £100, £150 to £200 to pay," he said.

"We haven't got a problem with green taxes but they have got to be fair and the retrospective bit of this tax is not fair."

And I think Andrew Neil summed it up on the PMQ's review:
Quote
"When oil hits $135 a barrel, and peoples utility bill are going through the roof, and you need a mortgage to fill up your tank when you go to the petrol station now, the market is doing all the greenery that people can cope with, there is no consitituency now for extra green taxes, when prices are going through the roof"

And Michael Howard also voiced his opinion when a Labour MP was trying to defend the tax as a green tax and that the government was being sensetive to people who are feeling the pinch:
Quote
"But its hitting people who are already feeling the pinch, its not being sensetive to people who are feeling the pinch, when the spokesman for Greenpeace says this is the kind of tax that gives green taxes a bad name, you know you're on the wrong track, and you are on the wrong track"

But will Gordon Brown even take into account any of these opinions? No. Will he take into account the opinions or the fears of the people of this country? No.

We can all just fook off and pay the sodden taxes in his opinion, cause we are all nothing in the eyes of Labour unless we are minted (ie. we own a bank)!!

I think in this instance....the Government need to take a major step back from "Greenhouse Effect"..and "Global Warming" Issues..

When is the next big election, cos I feel Im gonna have to vote for the first time....

Lmao on Nick Robinsons Review (video about half way down the screen), Labour are absolutely torn to pieces over the question of if global warming is even an issue given the fact that for the past 10 years, the 4 major worldwide temperature monitoring institutes, including NASA and the UK met office, have all found temeperatures to be decreasing every year.

Labour have absolutely no answer to it, and he is basically explaining to the MP that it is nothing to do with a "Green" tax, because if it was, why would it be suddenly implemented now?? It is just a another fookin stealth tax.

mad mad

Well I can tell you from studying it in both Geography and Geology during my Sixth Form Years...(Go Me)

There is No Such Thing as Global Warming

Volcanos erupting push out more co2 in one go than we could ever produce in over 10 years of current living. We are actually currently experiencing a mini Ice Age, where temperatures are lower than normal. When I say Mini ice Age, its been taking place for longer than Humans have walked the Earth. Any Temperature rise is completely normal. We Need to look at the bigger picture.

Does it make sense to anyone why there are 2 Large land Masses on earth made of Ice??

No, theyre only around due to the Ice Age. But were now coming to the end of that Ice Age. Instead of concentrating on Trying to find aternative ways to power industry and vehicles etc..we need to find different ways in Which we can protect Modern and Future Civilisations from Rapid increases in heat, which will and are taking place as we speak.

Hmmmm...wonder why no-one is doing that?

Im not arsed anyway, id rather not pay an extra £100 tax than worry about what would happen to the country in 1000 years time.

Any Labour fans going to support them in anything they do nowadays? I see people pissed off to death with them atm, but never see anyone being able to defend their stupidity!

Well, its been happening for a long time. Im sure there will still be people supporting them "For the greater good of the economy"...(Look at Afghanistan, Iraq etc)

But these are most likely going to be selfish old people, who dont care about the world of tomorrow, and rather how much they have to pa for healthcare, or pensions etc

Thats a pretty good read, especially whats going on in parliment.

Question is how much longer is it going to go on for....?

Labour surely wont win another General Election, but will it take different leadership to change current plans, or will realisation kick in before then.... think
