Water Way To Break The Record - 2nd May 2008 11:44pm
American showman David Blaine's efforts to push his physical boundaries know no limits. Not content with being buried alive for a week, standing on top of a 27-metre high pole for 35 hours and going 44 days encased 'above the below' without food in London, he's now broken the world record for holding your breath under water, with an incredible time of 17 minutes, 4.4 seconds.
Blaine's next stunt will be an attempt to break the world record for sleep deprivation, which currently stands at 11.5 days.
He just never tires of it, eh?
