The widow of a police officer who died when he was stabbed while answering a 999 call has led mourners in a minute's silence one week on from his death.

Pc Jon Henry, 36, was stabbed on 11 June after responding to reports of an attack on a window cleaner in Luton.

George Street fell silent at 1000 BST on Monday as Mary Henry and her family were joined by about 100 members of the public and up to 20 police officers.

Tennyson Obih, of Winsdon Road, Luton, is charged with Mr Henry's murder.

The 27-year-old is also charged with the attempted murder of two window cleaners - Steven Chamberlain and David Knight.
