Trusts self-declare how they are doing against the core standards, which then help determine their overall NHS rating.

Although standards in general are rising, its just not happening quick enough, I think Labour need to make this a priority now with hospital superbugs getting more and more dangerous all the time.

Its the cleaning contractors that are at fault in general, but due to the funding cuts, the cleaners are expected to do superhumand amounts of work which leaves the patients and nurses at risk. The nurses all carry alcogel hand sterilising gel and have to observe very strict precediures over keeping everything sterile.
Every bit of additional funding that goes to the hospitals seems to end up being used to hire more middle managers!
