Police have charged a man over the death of a 28-year-old who died in an altercation outside a chip shop in the Bootle area of Merseyside.
Gary Jenner died in the incident outside the takeaway shop on Stanley Road in January.
Merseyside police have charged 53-year-old Luke McCormick with the manslaughter of Mr Jenner.
Mr McCormick, of Pennington Avenue, Bootle, has been bailed to appear before Bootle magistrates on 26 April.

WTF!!! He has been charged with manslaughter (which in many cases is used because they dont have enough evidence/witnesses to push a murder charge through the CPS) yet he is given bail??
Whether he meant to kill the guy or not, he is obviously still highly suspected of murdering him in truth, and there is enough evidence for the CPS to believe it.
This juditial system in this country is really going downhill!
