Oh god hope this is only a false alarm, tithebarne street cordoned off and bomb disposal team there, everybody evacuated so people safe. Let's wait to hear more and hope it's not what we all fear...

It won't be a "proper" terrorist if its Silkhouse Court, its just an office rental building (I used to work from there for about a year).

There were some interesting businesses there that could be the target of a religious fanatic.

But in all likely hood, its just someone that's lost the plot and at worst has a minor incendiary device.

Man has now been apprehended and escorted into a police van. Premises being searched. Sounds like a one-off to me, not a terrorist incident.

Oh I'm glad about that,it must be so scary for everyone though. Having just watched that programme about the Charlie Hebdo killings and other people which I hadn't realised were all connected shows how easy it is to get caught up in these incidents.

When the IRA were on a bombing campaign in Belfast, I overheard an interesting conversation between two young women on the train home one evening.

"Did you hear about the bomb scare in Marks today?"

"No! Oh bugger, there was a skirt I wanted there but I cant afford it"

"I just got a pair of Jeans this time".

It seems the speed with which the store was cleared didn't allow for the customers to pay for their items. Its an ill wind I suppose.

Lol. You want to try and live here. You folks don't hear anything anymore on your news about all that still goes on here. These days its all about "drugs" and not the "cause" so very little is televised.
