illegal fireworks seized in Birkenhead - 27th Oct 2015 5:27pm
FIREWORKS have been seized from a property in Birkenhead after they were found to be stored without a licence.
Police officers, together with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, attended the premises in Grange Mount at around 4.40pm on Monday.
Two men, aged 28 and 25 from the Birkenhead area, were arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods. They have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
