MARKS & Spencer is the latest business to take a space at a Wirral retail park.

Retailers have signed for a total of 55,000 sq ft of space at Croft Retail and Leisure Park in Bromborough over the last 12 months.

M&S has agreed to take 11,000 sq ft of space in a recently subdivided unit, formerly home to Mothercare.

The baby clothing and accessories retailer will move into a 10,000 sq ft unit which was previously occupied by Brantano.

Soft furnishings retailer Dunelm has also agreed to take a unit at the site on a 15-year lease.

Six food brands are also set to open at the park, including Nandos and Harvester who have both agreed 25-year leases.

Over the last months, three catering pods have also been created at the Bromborough park – owned by Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd -allowing KFC, Subway and Greggs to open.

2014 also saw Costa Coffee move in to a 1,885 sq ft unit.

What does the New Birkenhead shopping centre have that the old Birkenhead one doesn't have,answer, free parking, while the old Birkenhead centre is dying the new one is thriving, thanks Wirral councillors, I see you still can't see as far as your noses, I suppose voting is like putting information in a computer, garbage in gets you garbage out.
