Teenager dragged into alleyway in attempted Wirral sex attack

A TEENAGER was grabbed from behind and dragged into an alleyway in an attempted sexual assault as she walked through Tranmere.

The 18-year-old was walking along Well Lane at around 10.30pm on Monday when a man approached her from behind.

He put his hand over her mouth and dragged her into an alleyway near to Linwood Road.

The woman managed to struggle free and the man ran off in the direction of Town Road.

He is described as being in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded top and spoke with a local accent.
