There is a back street garage of oxton road, and the guy there should be in court, he charges a fortune for a service and does not even do the service, then swears black and blue that he has, even tho the oil is black as the ace of spades, oil filter still covered in dirt, and air filter full of leaves and dead spiders, and sparks plugs that are not new, proper scammer, and tells customer his track rod ends need changing charges for parts and labour but does not change part, and swears black and blue he did.

He deserves everything he gets! He has ripped people off repeatedly for years including his own family!

I could share quite a few stories about the theiving, lying ... but don't know if it is against the rules.

It might be a good idea to either be more detailed or not name-and-shame with vague details. Chris Gilley works off Oxton Road and I've always found him to be spot on with any work he's done on my car.

But, back to Nolan, more details here:

Tools I bought from him after he closed his garage on dock road turned out to be stolen from another local garage. He is a bit of low life shite. Ps. Tools were returned to their owner .

Where to start from the masses of tool and equipment belonging to us that he sold on ebay while he was supposedly looking for a van to bring them when we moved.

The amount of people who has ripped off is untrue.

For the record Dilly half the stuff he had at the dock road garage actually belonged to my husband as Jimmy took over his garage when we moved due to hubby's ill health.

He must have scammed thousands upon thousands off people over the years - he still sells dodgy cars at the top of Victoria Park.

I wouldn't trust him with a pet rock - still wondering what happened to the allegations that he had abused his friend's daughter as that was never reported by the papers despite my old house that he took over the rental of being raided and bedsheets etc taken away for analysis.

The guy is a total dirty joke and I hope he gets all that is owed to him in jail!

As Reddragon has already said, this thread is about Jimmy Nolan not anyone else.

Then perhaps the whole of the thread should be moderated and any references to any other mechanics or garages be removed?

Are you taking the Pi$$?, Mark already did 30 minutes before you posted this.

So is this ironic or a I told you so then? When I first registered on here and posted a for sale thread of a old Ford escort I'd bought of him and stated how in my opinion he was a schiester and had sold me a inherently dangerous car that after spending hundreds trying to make it safe I ran out of money before being able to complete it and the fact he didn't give a toss, I was contacted and threatened on his behalf, contacted and threatened with legal action for supposed slander. This article kind of makes one feel vindicated.

Dodgy he is also threatening me with "slander" at the moment because I have outed him on Facebook! Difference right now is I have details of ebay accounts etc that he used to use which I am pretty certain the police and CPS would take some time looking over.

There are LOTS of people who have been ripped off by Nolan who are now contacting the police to make formal statements about his true nature. Might I suggest that you consider also doing the same xx
