Last Friday i was down that way around 12:30 and 2 PCSOs were standing out on the beach not far from the marine lake at west kirby and police cars and a helicopter headed down that way. The photo on the report looks a bit sunny for today. The tuesday morning tide was only 27ft at 2am and not big enough IMO to wash a body ashore there as there is little current missing people? wallasey bloke? young couple who drowned a year back?

I too wasn't sure the tide went that far or the current was that strong...
There are still five bodies missing from the wreck of the Swanland which sank off Anglesey. I know its some distance away but with local currents prevailing and westerly winds it could be from her. Wreck moved slightly perhaps releasing the body. Just a thought.
Found out this today family friends and the people he worked with (which includes me) are deeply saddened by the news, always hope he was going to be ok rip mike. gone but not forgotten
