Have just been to the bank in new ferry and it was shut and a lot of shops in darkness due to a power failure. It seems the police found a large cannibis factory above one of the shops, and whilst disconnecting the electric managed to cut the power to a number of shops.

Didn't seem to affect the Post Office or the Co-op, been to both in the past hour.

OH sugar hope it didnt effect mels shop.

It effected The Butterfly Park shop, we couldn't get the electric shutters up to open up this morning until about 11ish, then it was sporadic power all day by all accounts.
Though we had it better than some of the shops I believe.
