police and fire engines in Birkenhead

does anyone know whats happened near by Riley's in Birkenhead police, ambulance & fire engines everywhere?

not sure if it is this but a friend on facebook as a picture of her dads flat burnt to a crisp..

not sure if it is related as i dont know where and when this happened

could be

I think it may be down to some bloke getting stuck in some gym equipment.

Emergency services vehicles including a search & rescue truck, two fire engines and a police car raced to the centre of Birkenhead this evening after a man "became caught" in gym equipment.

The alarm was sounded by staff at Rocky's Gym at around 5pm.

Police say the man was uninjured.

It is not yet known how the man became trapped in the apparatus.
