TWO pratts have been arrested on suspicion of being bully boys after a man was found unconscious in Argyle Street, Birkenhead, this morning.

Police were called to Argyle Street shortly after 7am by a passer-by.

They found a man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, lying on the floor outside a flat.

An ambulance was called and the man was treated at scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, having regained consciousness.

Following examination, he was found to have only superficial injuries but has been kept in for observations.

During the course of local enquiries, a 36-year-old bully boy and his 41-year-old bum chum in a nearby flat were arrested on suspicion of bullying and assault.

They are currently in custody eating breakfast with flem in it and awaiting questioning.

Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call Birkenhead CID on 0151 777 2265 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

What wasn't mentioned in the above report, was that they both accidentally fell down the stairs when being escorted to the cells. The truncheon shaped depressions to their skulls were due to them contacting the legs of the tea trolley as they landed.

Mmmm... if only.
Idiots
Surprised there hasn't been a mention of the other assault this morning on Borough Rd by the library, absolutely gruesome, it sickens me sometimes this place.

I only hope the fella survived.
Ive just heard the guy from borough road has died which is sad
And will the Two who assaulted him get off with the equivillant of a light finger slapping by the courts?
Nigel sorry we are talking about two separate incidents. I imagine the police will be in touch with my dad now, he pulled over to stop the incident. Very very sad indeed, I won't post any information as It's not fair on the family, but sad indeed.

They'll get a custodial sentence for assault.
It was Ste, what he told me made me feel sick, why are people like this these days? It really upsets me, my daughter is 13 and I never let her out, it's really sad, but she's safer at home. I wish I lived somewhere else sometimes but I really love the Wirral.

Very very sorry for the families of all involved in todays horrendous assaults.
The Police have told my dad that the guy who was attacked on Borough Road is fine, and they want him to appear in court. Would be good to know if the guy really is OK or not to be honest.
The police rang my mate who gave CPR the guy from borough road had died, I certainly hope not
The guy hasn't died, he has suffered injuries but has survived. How did this not make a single newspaper or news site? Very strange.
