Banned Driver walks free

There was a late Christmas present for a 48-year-old man at Wirral Magistrates Court.

Nigel Wynne, of Stanley Lane, Eastham, appeared in the dock charged with driving while banned in the Kingsway Tunnel in May.

District Judge Nick Sanders discontinued the matter because the papers had not been served in time and Wynne walked free.

“Happy Christmas”, said defence lawyer Gerald Pachter to
Wynne as he left the court room.

What a stupid excuse for getting away with it.

Its such a shame we can't just totally reformat the UK and start from a fresh slate, because the whole place has totally gone to crap, there isn't a single institution in this country that has any sense of reverence for the job they do, from the rubbish collection, to the police. And what does it all come down to at the end of it all, the very bottom of the triangle ... Money.

As for the government themselves, the last person that walked into Parliament with honest intentions was Guy Fawkes.

Whichever department delivers the papers, someone should be sacked and the job given to a person who wants to do it, If they can't get rid of that one then his boss should be given the shove for running such a shoit setup. Too many crims getting away with it because of procedure or technicalities.
