Man charged with drugs offences - Bebington
A Bebington man has been charged with drugs offences following a Wirral police operation yesterday (Thursday, December 23).
Following the execution of a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a house on Elton Drive, Bebington, James Douglas Baker, aged 23, of Elton Drive, Bebington was arrested and later charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of a weapon.
He was remanded in custody until his court appearance at Wirral Magistrates' Court today (Friday, December 24).
A 23-year-old woman from Bebington was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs and possession of a weapon and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
